About the scheme

Supporting students to experience university life

The University of Birmingham is pleased to offer support with coach travel costs for eligible schools and colleges visiting our campus.

We want to help more students experience university life first-hand through subject taster days, campus visits, discovery events and outreach activities.

Through our partnership with The Coach Company, schools and colleges can request free or subsidised coach travel to approved University of Birmingham events and activities.

Coach support may be available for:

School and college groups visiting the University of Birmingham

Subject taster days and masterclasses

Discovery Days and campus visits

Outreach and widening participation activities
